Rental Terms

These conditions apply to every stay at Villa Lidia. They summarise what we confirm in writing with each booking. If your written confirmation says something different, the confirmation counts.

You request a stay through the Request a Stay page. We personally reply within 24 hours to confirm availability and send you a final quote. The booking is confirmed once we receive the deposit.

The payment schedule is the same for every booking:

• A 50% deposit confirms your booking.
• The remaining 50%, the security deposit of EUR 500 and the final cleaning fee of EUR 250 are due 8 weeks before arrival.
• Pool heating is optional and charged separately.
• Tourist tax is not included and is paid locally where it applies.

What you get back depends on when you cancel:

• More than 12 weeks before arrival: the full deposit is refunded.
• Between 8 and 12 weeks before arrival: half of the deposit is refunded.
• Within 8 weeks of arrival: no refund, unless we manage to re-book your dates.
• We strongly recommend travel insurance.

The security deposit of EUR 500 covers possible damage to the property. We refund it within 7 days of your departure if there is no damage. Damage, including damage caused by pets, is deducted from it.

In high and top season (June to September and Christmas) the minimum stay is 7 nights, usually from Saturday to Saturday. In middle and low season the minimum stay is 4 nights. Ask us for special arrangements; we are happy to look at what is possible.

Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out before 10:00. Our local welcome team meets you at the villa, gives you a tour and hands over the keys. An early check-in or late check-out is sometimes possible in low and middle season, is never guaranteed and may carry a fee.

The villa welcomes the number of guests stated in your confirmation. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on request, at no extra charge; the garden is fully fenced. Damage caused by pets is deducted from the security deposit.
